Culture Bank — 10cc of lab-isolated Ganoderma lucidum mycelium in nutrient broth, selected for high triterpenoid content and reliable fruiting body formation. Colonizes grain in 5–10 days; full development to harvest takes 90–120 days — this is not a fast grow. Patience is the primary skill required.
The lacquered red-orange fruiting body is too bitter and woody to eat — best processed as a dual-extract tincture (water + alcohol) to capture both beta-glucans and triterpenoids. Not recommended for beginners.
