The grain every serious grower reaches for first. Rye berries carry the highest surface area of any large grain we carry, holding moisture evenly through the full colonization cycle — no dry pockets, no stalled mycelium. It works reliably across nearly every cultivated species, which is why it's the default substrate in most commercial spawn operations.
Our 3lb bags come pre-hydrated to ~50% moisture and sterilized in a commercial autoclave at 15 PSI, then batch-tested with biological indicators before shipping. Inject directly through the self-healing filter patch — no repackaging, no additional prep.
