Skip colonization entirely — this block is already fully colonized with our Ganoderma lucidum culture. Unlike our Oyster and Lion's Mane blocks, cutting it open won't give you mushrooms within a week — Reishi is not a fast grow. Expect a white, coral-like antler stage first, developing into the classic lacquered red-orange conk over 60–90+ days.

Supplemented hardwood sawdust, autoclave-sterilized and colonized in our lab. Fruit at 70–80°F with 85–90% humidity and steady fresh air exchange. Do not rush the harvest — ganoderic acid content builds as the cap fully hardens.

Expect 1–2 flushes total, spaced months apart. The fruiting body is too woody and bitter to eat — best processed as a dual-extract tincture once harvested.
